Ruffini in Munich

The walnut cake is my favorite cake and everyone else tastes great! Very good, open atmosphere and something for every taste. I'm happy when we can be there again!

Nice cafe, the menu of the day offers an appealing selection also for vegetarians. The evening menu also varies so that you can come here at any time of the day.

I can only agree with most of the comments. Service super unfriendly or ignorant. We were ignored for 15 minutes - then left again. If you don't feel like working in service and are overwhelmed by a well-attended Sunday, you should change jobs. Made us feel very unwelcome.

I just went to the cafe downstairs for a beer. Nice, bright restaurant with high ceilings and friendly service.

The café is very nice and the food is excellent. When the weather is nice, you can sit on a nice roof terrace. Unfortunately, the staff is often arrogant and unfriendly, so I can only recommend a visit to a limited extent.

Very tasty cakes and cappuccino. However point deductions for the unfriendly service. I felt guilty that I had to disturb the waitress at all and almost wanted to apologize for my presence. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A good place to meet friends and spend a comfortable Sunday afternoon with a cake and a cup of coffee. In winters this place gives a cozy feel, thanks to the wooden interiors and in summers one can spend time either outside or on the terrace. Special attention is paid to the quality of ingredients used to prepare the food. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The roof terrace of the restaurant & cafe is very nice, but after a visit you should definitely take a cake with you - it is really very good. Some say it is the best in Munich.

The food is always freshly prepared and of good quality. You just notice that this is not just about profit! The prices are totally okay for the quality.

The best home-made quality cakes in Munich! Low-key atmosphere, frequented by locals, cultural events in the evening, very cozy terrace on the 2nd floor, great bread and wine in the store on the corner.

Cozy and traditional Café in Neuhausen. Super friendly staff and exquisite cakes.

Small idyllic cafe in Neuhausen. The cakes are delicious, especially lemon and chocolate. The intellectually tense audience seems a bit arrogant at first, but the impression lays quite fast with the friendly service. Super is also the street sale with cake to go.

There are always a lot of people, especially on weekends and it can be difficult to find a place. Surely the products are very good and of quality. Breakfast menu with average price between 9 and 13 euros. Do not miss the cakes. But if you're looking for something cheap, maybe it's not for you.

One of the classics in Munich and Neuhausen. A must go when it is warm outside and the roof top is opened. Otherwise all a recommendation. The food is organic and 'healthy', means the taste is usual subtle. The prices are medium to high. The quality of ingredients is high. Good choices of wine. Very good Bavarian beer. Try the cakes that are also sold in the shop next door together with fresh bread and other essentials. Overall a great place of you can ignore the hipsters and oekies. Recommended.

I have been a guest of an institution in Munich for over 30 years. Daily changing dishes. Cake coffee in summer roof terrace many daily newspapers ? own bakery and wine import. In the evening wine and bread over the counter after the shop closes. Ruffini is always a good choice at any time of the day.

I really like he place and setting but find that the service could be improved significantly

I only tried their beer, a normal German pilsen. There's no outside area, but there's a terrace (not always available), where you have to fetch your own drinks because the service is only on the ground floor, which is decent. :p
